The combination of Delta, Northwest and Continental
airlines, three of North Americas largest carriers allows for virtually every city in the United States to have some service. There is no Canadian
member of this alliance so travel in Canada is somewhat restricted. All the other airlines in this alliance provide limited service to and thru North America.

South
and Central
America |
Aero Mexico, the largest
airline in Mexico and Copa Airlines of Panama services many
destinations in Central America. For extensive travel in the Central
American region this alliance offers the largest route network.
Delta and Continental offer routings to a variety of cities in Central America. Korean Air has a route from Los Angeles to Sao Paulo. Air France and Alitalia
provides service to Europe from several South American cities.
This alliance has no South American carrier and internal travel
within the continent is somewhat limited but Copa Airlines does put
much of the region accessible.
Air France has an extensive array of destinations throughout the
world and this alliance does not limit the number of stops in
Europe. CSA Czech Airlines, Air Europa, KLM and Alitalia are among the largest on the continent and almost any destination is within easy reach.
The addition of Aeroflot of Russia to this alliance makes some
unique advantages for visiting nations of the former Soviet Union. Delta provides service to North American destinations and has a route from Frankfurt to India. Korean airlines provides service to Asia utilizing its hub in Seoul.
Korean Airlines provides service throughout the continent, and most major cities are serviced. China
Southern is the largest airline in China and offers a wealth of
travel opportunities not only in China but throughout Asia. Air France services many Asian routes from Paris, and Delta services some routes from the United States.
Air France and Alitalia provide transportation from Africa to Europe. Kenya
Airways offers many opportunities for travel throughout Africa as
well as limited service to Europe.
Only Korean Airlines provides service to Australia and New Zealand
from its hub in Seoul. Air France has a few routes to Tahiti
and the South Pacific from Los Angeles, but the other Skyteam
members offer no service to or thru this region.
